These Bates Combat Boots are made with black leather and a sturdy Vibram outsole, these boots are good for cold and wet seasons and terrain. Their Goretex lining and slip-resistant features make them both comfortable and practical for anyone that needs reliable boots for work or outdoor activities. I wore them a couple times to do yardwork but found them to be a bit too big for me. There are a couple of light scuff marks on toes and heels as well as around the sides of the sole but they will not affect wearability.
